FAQ

All books are available exclusively on Amazon worldwide. Find all links here.

The Color and Black Editions contain exactly the same content and coloring illustrations – the only difference is the background color of the pages.

In the Color Edition, the left-hand pages have a background color that matches the book’s cover (such as blue, magenta, red, or orange etc.), while the right-hand coloring pages have a white background.

In the Black Edition, all pages feature a black background, creating a darker, more immersive look.

Both the Standard and Premium Editions contain exactly the same content – the only difference is the print quality and materials used. The Standard Edition features a matte cover and is printed on regular Amazon KDP paper (around 80 gsm). It’s a great option for everyday coloring.

The Premium Edition comes with a slightly thicker, glossy cover and thicker pages (around 100 gsm) with a soft sheen. The print quality is noticeably sharper and more precise, with richer, more saturated colors. The ink coverage is smoother and more even across the entire page, giving the pages a cleaner, more polished look without visible imperfections.

Thanks to the lightly glossy surface, the premium paper absorbs less ink from markers, allowing for smoother application and slightly faster coloring. And once you try the Premium Edition, it’s hard to go back to the Standard one.

Books are printed via Amazon in two editions: a Standard Edition on standard Amazon KDP paper (80 gsm) and a Premium Edition printed on Amazon KDP premium paper (100 gsm). Both work well with colored pencils and crayons. If you’re using wet media such as alcohol or water-based markers, it’s a good idea to place an extra sheet behind the page to avoid any bleed-through.

Returns for coloring books purchased on Amazon are only accepted in cases of defects or damage.

First, check whether the problem is related to a printing defect or shipping damage. Then, contact Amazon customer service directly for assistance with returns or replacements. If you still need support, feel free to email me at contact@maliekokoro.com or send me a direct message on Instagram or TikTok – I’m always happy to help!

For the best coloring experience, I recommend using:

  • Alcohol-based markers – they work great, but always place a sheet of paper underneath to avoid bleed-through

  • Acrylic markers – vibrant and smooth

  • Wax crayons – classic and easy to use

  • Colored pencils – great for details and layering

  • Gel pens – perfect for adding shine and accents

💡 Tip: Water-based tools like felt-tip or watercolor markers can sometimes cause wrinkling or light bleeding depending on how much ink is applied. If you’d like to use them, try testing on a small area first.

You’ll find a secret key printed on the back of each coloring page, next to the QR code. Simply enter the code from the page you want to color on the Malie’s Secrets page, or scan the QR code to reveal the secret 😉
